Flooring

Southern Woods Flooring in Bethlehem started refinishing our floors today, and they already look amazing! I'll keep posting updated photos, but here's the before & after so far. Once the floors are finished we should be getting closer to opening day - we're now shooting for mid-June!

This is what the floors looked like when we bought the house - 

AND here is what the floors look like today after being sanded -

We found some old newspapers between the hardwood and plywood - it's dated 1938. It amazes me that the home is 40+ years older than that!!

I got the front door painted - the brick color will match!

 There are wasp nests everywhere... this one was especially pretty (and empty)
