Today we tackled the carpets. We didn't know the condition of the floors beneath the carpets, but we we're just hoping they would be decent. Here's the before picture..

for being 120+ years old, the floors are in amazing condition!!
we'll be getting the floors refinished soon, and they'll look perfect!
this is our next task.. removing the vinyl flooring from the hardwoods in the hallway - hope the floors look good under this too!
